SGTV - Student Gamecock Television is the entirely student-run television station at the University of South Carolina. Our content and programming include news, sports, entertainment, comedy, and filmmaking. We are dedicated to informing our audience on the latest happening on campus and entertaining our community.​

SGTV was founded in the fall of 2006 as Student Government Television. In April 2007, the organization was released to the department of Student Media, now known as Garnet Media Group, and works in partnership with The Daily Gamecock, Garnet and Black Magazine, and WUSC-FM.  

We currently have a staff of over 150 students that are dedicated to informing and entertaining our campus community.
